Join us October 13th for Cards Come Together, a day where UofL students, staff, faculty, and alumni come together to fully engage in the welfare and vitality of the Louisville metro area through service projects. Registration is required; sign-ups will close when maximum participation has been reached. All volunteers will receive a Cards Come Together t-shirt. Let’s come together to make a difference and show our Cardinal spirit through service at sites around campus.
Metro United Way (20 SLOTS)
The Red Barn, 2011 S Brook St Walk, Louisville, KY 40208
As part of this project, volunteers will gather at the Red Barn on Belknap Campus to assemble and decorate snack kits for Metro United Way’s nonprofit partners. All materials needed will be provided.

Volunteers will sort medical supplies to prepare them to be redistributed where needed around the world. All supplies will be provided.

As part of this project, volunteers will tour the facility before helping sort and bundle donated shoes to be shipped to developing countries. All supplies will be provided, and Michelin will add shoes collected from their recent shoe drive.

Envirome Institute and planting partner, Louisville Grows (35 SLOTS)
Expressway Church of Christ, 4437 S 6th St, Louisville, KY 40214
As part of this project, volunteers will plant flower bulbs in an area by 3rd and Florence with Louisville Grows and the Envirome Institute. Volunteers will Park at Expressway Church of Christ and walk 2 blocks to the planting site. All materials needed will be provided.
