Title: Business Students and West End Community Leaders: Collaborate to Promote Economic Development

Description:
College of Business students and West End community leaders collaborate to identify community needs for businesses & services and the available real estate for entrepreneurial ventures to meet these community needs. Students received guided tours of West End neighborhoods, spoke with community organizers, and surveyed residents and existing business owners to identify paths for future entrepreneurial ventures. Students then identified a geographic corridor that would provide the necessary infrastructure to support burgeoning entrepreneurs to meet community needs.
Title: "CeLOUbrate Print: A Community Printmaking Project"

Description:
Hosted by the Portland Museum, CeLOUbrate Print is a community printmaking project with free, local woodcut workshops and a culminating event, during which we steamroll printed woodcuts, demonstrated other processes, and hosted an exhibition of Louisville prints. Learned how community-based learning and teaching incorporated outreach in this project.
